Bundesweit werden jährlich Bau-, Liefer- und Dienstleistungsaufträge in einem Gesamtvolumen von ca. 250 Milliarden Euro vergeben; dies entspricht etwa 12% des Bruttoinlandsprodukts. Die öffentliche Beschaffung ist jedoch von einem umfangreichen Regelwerk umgeben. Einen guten Überblick bietet der Leitfaden "Wie komme ich an öffentliche Aufträge?". Dieser ist für Euro 52,43 inkl.
